This blog is intended to focus on one particular subject, Anahawnons - this group of happy people from this small coastal town at the heart of the Pacific Area of Southern Leyte.
Update Frequency
As much as I love blogging about Anahawan the whole day everyday, I can not do so since I am a working Daddy and I have to eat too. :) Nevertheless, I will make it a point to create at least one blog post per week. So do not let a week pass by without visiting this blog that is all about you and me. :)
Pictures
I will also be posting some pictures. Pardon me though for my embarrassingly low-quality pictures as they are taken only using my not so hi-tech China Phone, unless you would like to donate a decent camera.
All kids aside, the best way you can help me is to send me some Anahawnon pictures that you would like to be featured in this blog. I have few conditions though before I post your pictures:
1. You must have the right to the picture you submitted. Either you own the picture or you were given permission by the picture owner to submit and post it here.
2. You must provide at least a 2-sentence description of the picture. The more descriptions, the better.
3. The picture must be about or at least related to Anahawan.
4. No nude, pornographic, or offensive pictures... please.
News Updates
From time to time I might also post some news about Anahawan. Efforts will be made so that all news are all factual. In case you find inaccuracies, please do not hesitate to contact me so I can make the necessary corrections. You can also submit your own reports. Just make sure you have the proper references, quotations of who says what, or at least take accountability of the truthfulness of the news.
Opinions, Commentaries, Reviews
I will also be posting personal opinions, commentaries, and reviews. I would like to emphasize that they will be "personal". Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion so I am also opening this blog for anyone to post her or his opinions. You can send me your own opinions, commentaries or reviews. Some guidelines below:
1. Please take note that opinions are just that, personal opinions. They should not be presented as facts.
2. Opinions should not be intended to destroy the integrity of any person or particular group of individuals.
Events
I will also try to cover as much event in Anahawan as much as possible. This would include events like town and barangay fiestas (of course!), school and alumni events, political events, sports, and others. If you are organizing or promoting an event, you can announce them in this blog. Just send me the details and I will be happy to do the rest for you.
Business Advertisements
Promote your services or products here. Just send me the details, link to your website if you have any, and I will post them here. Do not worry about fees, it is free!
I have so much categories in mind to post in this blog but it now looks like I am promising too much. I will just add them at the time when I am able to deliver them.
