News Feed in the Sand

Took some walk along the Anahawnon shores and found something interesting and funny, something that I could not help but compare to the commenting features of the number one networking site of today.

After the high tide, the sea would normally recede backwards to reveal a beautiful canvass of nicely flattened wet sand. The sand canvass would then invite a lot of people to express themselves by writing or drawing anything on the sand. Some would even build some structures up. Others would then walk along, find these drawings or expressions and then.... leave some comments.

Just like any other place in the country, basketball still is one of the most popular sports in Anahawan.

Dragonball, a cartoon TV series that I grew up with for the last 2 decades, still have fans in Anahawan. I am assuming that this guy is San Goku throwing his Kamehameha Wave.

To some kids, the gun is one the most beautiful piece of art, next to the human body. :)

 Is boat racing becoming popular?

Here is another fan of basketball.

Obviously, this one took it so wrongly.  I also could not remember Pacquiao coughing when he was endorsing Alaxan. I could remember he said "aray" and not "bo-bo-ubo!".

T-back is kind of short pants?

Harana is no longer in, but flowers still is one of the best ways to a woman's heart.

It was not Valentine season when we were taking these pictures, but it seems love is in the sand.

A new kind of discrimination - facial discrimination.

Being gay is now in. Oh man, this guy's in love with you. :)

Even the young kids know English, but many still have problems with spelling.

Another lovestrucked idol - the frustrated crush ng bayan.

The hearthrob is now tired... tired of being handsome... whew!!!

Many would do anything just to avoid facial discrimination. :) If this is not readable, here is what it says:
Comment1: Gwapa lagi ka, unsa imong sikreto?
Comment2: Simple ra dong, bowad ra ibotang imo nawong.

Does this mean child labor issues? It says: "Uli na Dong kay manaka ta og lubi."

However we want to comment on how other people express themselves, we should be mindful that at the beginning and end of each post is a human being. Just be sensitive when expressing your own self... because....
